Training module 1 h 30

To frame clinical supervision practice properly, it's important to be able to refer to a practice model that suits our professional context, theoretical orientation and nature of practice. This workshop will deepen our knowledge of three major conceptual models that are particularly useful in most clinical supervision practice contexts.

To better integrate the content from this workshop, you are invited to join our next discussion group associated with Workshop #5 in the Competency-Based Clinical Supervision series. See our calendar of upcoming events for the next available dates!

If you intend to complete several ProPsychNet training workshops, please note that it is much more advantageous to purchase the annual Professional Plan, with which you can complete ALL available workshops for a single annual fee of $550 plus taxes.

REMINDER: If you have a Professional Plan membership this workshop is included and already is accessible in MY ACTIVITIES.

What you will learn

Learn more about the discriminatory model (Bernard, 1979, 1997).

Learn more about the IDM model (Stoltenberg, 1981).

Learn more about the strengths-based model (Wade & Jones, 2014).

Learn to apply the different models in clinical supervision activities.
